As a 2014 Triangle United Way 100,000 Kids, Hungry No More Social Innovation Challenge finalist – Carrie received social entrepreneurial specific training she’d love to pass along to anyone looking to give back to his or her community.

Social Entrepreneur Training

The Innovation Challenge finalists were put through an “accelerator course” to help refine their ideas to scalable and implementable working concepts. They received access to a social entrepreneur support, mentorship from the company Bull City Forward. Bull City Forward’s mission is to “to enable entrepreneurs to create positive social change.” Bull City Forward helped arrange for some of the best social innovators in America, including professors from of Duke University, to mentor and support. Carrie is grateful for this experience of a lifetime and would find it a blessing to help you help others, too.
